Lisa Jane Kellerman (aka Lilli-pooh or Pooh-Face)
My big sister Lilli-pooh. From as far as I can remember, Lilli-pooh has always been there for me watching my every move and if there was ever an issue she would be there to swoop in and take care of me. If that was not possible, for whatever reason or because we might be in the company of others, I would receive a ‘look’ of discernment that was akin to master yoda whilst training his latest jedi apprentice (I actually think in every baby pic of me and Lilli, Lilli was staring at me discerningly...). That said, Lilli and I spent a lot of time in our youth planning our stardom and making music recordings to submit to radio whether it was using/”playing” Moms pots, pans, wooden spoons, buckets, spades, playing our recorders, the piano, testing out Lisa’s euphonium or later practicing our trombones, we were determined to be recognised. We were only really recognised by mom’s riding crop! When were weren’t busy planning our route to stardom, we would spend a lot of time outside annoying our nannies (and parents) by using every single garden hose around the farm to make hammocks high up in the trees. We were the Kings of the Castle… until of course Lilli’s friends (and my friend Donna) came over and I would become the ‘Dirty Rascal’ that no one wanted to play with, alternatively tied up for the afternoon. Lilli, now all grown up with her own kids in towe, living and working as a successful architect in Edmonton, Canada, is the most generous, humble, warm, loving, level headed and wonderful human being to ever exist. I think a lot of my family would confirm this and would agree with me that she is the rock that keeps everyone together and grounded. Lilli you are a vital role model in my life and I am honoured to have you as my matron of honour!
